Hi I’m Efrain!

I’ve always had a thing for styling my own hair and have rocked all kinds of looks over the years. Most of my inspiration comes from old-school, traditional barbering, I’m all about that classic barber culture. Some of my go-to styles and services are pompadours, slick backs, comb-overs, all-scissor cuts, and straight razor shaves.

Before barbering, I spent over a decade managing retail stores, but I knew I wanted something different — something more creative and hands-on. That’s when I decided to make the switch and enroll at the Modern Male Academy. While training there, I picked up some of my favorite techniques and realized how easily my customer service background translated into the barber world.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll probably catch me listening to music or digging through vinyls. I’m into metal, hardcore, and old-school hip-hop. I also love gaming — my all-time favorite is Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. Always down to run a set!
