Hi I’m Michael, A.k.a. MD Fades.

I have always had an interest in barbering.  As a kid I would cut my neighborhood friends hair, but I always looked at barbering as just a hobby.  When I was 18, I joined the Navy and served 8 years, which allowed me to travel around the world. Greece, Spain, and Italy were some of my greatest adventures.  I had the opportunity to learn about many fascinating world cultures.

After the Navy I started a few businesses, but never really found the passion I was looking for. At a professional crossroad, I decided to go back to my childhood passion and enroll at the Modern Male Barber Academy.

Today, I am a licensed barber in the state of Pennsylvania, and I am extremely happy in my line of work! My specialties are fades, scissor work, and straight shaves, yet I believe my high level of customer service and ability to engage in a great conversation will be appreciated by my clients.
